The Farm in winter is a much different place; colder, less color and quieter than summer. Although I do enjoy winter and the decreased work load that comes with farming, I am anxious for warmer weather. Here is what the farm looks like today.
Lavender almost buried in snow.
Icicles hanging from the shed.
Our dog likes to play in the snow.
Mary, our goat likes the barn when its cold.
Beautiful Cindy! We are getting snow tomorrow, can’t wait! I’m armed with firewood, hot chocolate and my iPad…I’m a happy girl…I love snow!
Meanwhile in Austin, all area schools were shut down today by the mere threat of ice. LOL! It turned out to be much ado about nothing.
The snow is beautiful! Thanks for sharing this glimpse into your world.
That has got to be the cutest goat I have ever seen! It’s unusually warm and snow-free here in Southern Oregon, and I have daffodils blooming already, but I missed the beautiful snowscapes this winter. Thanks for sharing yours!
Great pictures! We’re buried as well! AHHH!
We are above 0! Next week is looking warmer, too. We may get near 40, which is amazing. I will believe it when I feel it. I have been embracing winter, but I am sort of getting itchy for spring, now. My treadmill is broken, and it has been too cold to run outside. Next week is looking good!
p.s. Cute goat!!!
Absolutely lovely! So used to seeing farm pics in spring and summer, the farm is stunning in the winter too! Thanks for sharing!!!
